Question 22498: How can b2 , a2 , ab, ab if taken together is (a+b)2
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(a+b)^2 = (a+b)(a+b)= a(a+b)+b(a+b)
=aa+ab+ba+bb
=a^2 +ab+ab+b^2
This is usually written as a^2 + 2ab + b^2
