Area of a rectangle is length times width. So if the area is then all we need to do is figure out how this can be written as a multiplication. In other words all we need to do is factor this:

Either factor can be the length or width. The rectangle is (2x+1) cm by (x+5) cm. (x can be any number as long as the length and width remain positive.)
