Question 219996: question: Is it possible for the graph of a ploynomial function to have no y-intercepts? no x-intercepts? Explain your answer.
I know it is possible to have no y intercepts, but I can't explain why? And I'm not sure about the x intercepts?

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
No y intercepts:
y = sqrt(x-10)

----------------------------------------------------
No x intercepts:
y = x^2 + 2
