12^2+12^2=C^2
144+144=288
C=sqrt(52) and three decimal places will be?
2.Guy wire, how long is a guy wire reaching from the top of a 18-ft pole to a point on the ground 12 feet from the pole?
18^2+12^2=C^2
324+144=468
C=sqrt(468) and length of the wire is ? feet?
3. Darla id building a new desk. To make sure had made a square corner, she measure 3ft. from the corner along on edge and 6ft.. How long should diagonal be between those two points if the corner is right angle?
C^2=3^2+6^2=45
Finally, take square root of both sides (you only need to consider the + answer, since lengths are negative)
So if Darla�s corner is square, she should measure ? ft between the two points?
