y=mx+b
y=4/3x+(-3)
y=4/3x-3

We 1st determine the slope, using the slope formula, m = -----> = = 1

Using the slope, or m = 1, we then plug the information into the point-slope formula to determine our equation

Point-slope formula: ----> y - -1 = 1(x - 2) ----> y + 1 = x - 2 ------> y = x - 3.

Therefore,the equation of the line which passes through the points (2,-1) and (-1,-4) is:
