Answer by 2200998(3) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1- First you would find the square root of both numbers. the square root of 65 is 8.06 and the square root of 21 is 4.58;
Then you would add them together:
8.06 + 4.58 = 12.64
Adding the numbers virtically may help when dealing with decimals.
Problem #2:
If the square root of 2 is: 1.41
And the square root of 18 is: 4.24
Find the answer by adding the two numbers together.
You can find the square root by using the calculator on your computer.
Remember to always ask your teacher for help and to ask a lot of questions in class.
Good luck!
