Area=2*8x+2*10x+4*x^2
88=16x+20x+4x^2
4x^2+36x-88=0
4(x^2+9x-22)=0
4(x+11)(x-2)=0
x-2=0
x=2 in for the frame width.
Proof:
88=2*8*2+2*10*2+4*2^2
88=32+40+4*4
88=72+16
88=88
