3x/3x^(2)+x-10 – 5/3x^(2)+x-10

Subtract rational expression
3x/(3x^(2)+x-10) – 5/(3x^(2)+x-10)
---
The denominators are the same so combine the numerators of a common denominator.
---
[3x-5]/[3x^2+x-10]
---
Factor the denominator:
[3x-5]/[(3x-5)(x+2)]
---
Can the factor common to numerator and denominator to get:
= 1/(x+2)
