Factor completely: x^3 - 2x^2 + 6x - 12
I have done the following on this problem but it does not seem right.
x(x+2) + 6(x-2)
x^2 + 2x + 6x - 12
This does not seem right, can someone please help me.

= x^2(x-2) + 6(x-2)

= (x-2)(x^2+6)
