Question 200905: f(x)=x^2-9/x^2 / x^5+3x^4/x+2
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=x^2-9/x^2 / x^5+3x^4/x+2
------------------------
Factor where you can to get:
f(x)=[(x-3)(x+3)]/x^2 / [x^4(x+3)]/(x+2)
-------------------------
Invert the denominator and change to multiplication:
= [[(x-3)(x+3)]/x^2]
-------------------------
Cancel all factors common to a numerator and a denominator to get:
= [[(x-3)]/1]
--------------------------
Simplify:
= [(x-3)(x+2)]/[x^2]
