Write an equation which has 0,-3, and i as zeros. Leave equation in factored form
x = 0
Factor is x
x = -3
Factor: (x+3)
:
x = i
Square both side
x^2 = i^2
x^2 = -1
factor: (x^2 + 1)
:
x (x+3)(x^2 + 1) = 0; in factored form
