Question 199314: I am trying to simplify complex rational expressions. I have the answer but I don't understan how to get to it.
(2/p+p/2)/(p/3-3/p)
Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2/p+p/2)/(p/3-3/p)
=((4+p^2))/2p / ((p^2-9)/3p)
=((p^2+4)/2p) * (3p/(p^2-9)
=(3p^2+12)/(2p^2-18)
