arallie is correct on this. I just wanted to explain that to put an expression in standard form you simply combine like terms (ie. put all the x^3 together, all the x^2 together, all the x together and the constants(the number without the variable) together). Then you put the terms in descending order. This means to start with the highest exponent and then put the next highest exponent next (just like how arallie arranged them).
