I think you mean:
8/(z^2-81) minus 5/(z+9)
z^2-81 = (z-9)*(z-9), so z^2-81 is the LCD
= (8 - 5(z-9))/LCD
= (8 -5z + 45)/LCD
= (-5z+53)/(z^2-81)

Similar situation, the DEN is z^-81
9/(z^2-81) minus 6/(z-9)
= 9/DEN - 6(z+9)/DEN
= (9 -6z -54)/DEN
= (-6z - 45)/(z^2-81)
