sol:
9/x+2=3/x+2+2x
multiplying the equation by x+2
9 3
-- *(x+2) = --- * (x+2) + 2x(x+2)
(x+2) (x+2)
9 =3+2x(x+2)
subtracting 3 on both sides
9-3=3+2x(x+2)-3
6=2x(x+2)
dividing by 2 on both sides
6/2=2x/2*(x+2)
3=x(x+2)
x^2+2x=3
x^2+2x-3=0
x^2+3x-1x-3=0
x(x+3)-1(x+3)=0
(x-1)(x+3)=0
x-1=0
x=1
x+3=0
x= -3
