Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Question: 5/(y-3) = (y+7)/(2y-6) + 1 LCM is 2(y-3)?
--------------
Multiply thru by the LCM to get:
5(2) = (y+7) + 2(y-3)
10 = 3y +1
y = 3
