Question 192459: I am not understanding quadratic equations. Please help.
Explain: 2h^2 - h- 3 = 0 By using the zero factor property. I am clueless.

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Explain: 2h^2 - h- 3 = 0 By using the zero factor property.
-------------------------------------------------
2h^2 -3h + 2h - 3 = 0
h(2h-3) + (2h-3) = 0
(2h-3)(h+1) = 0
h = 3/2 or h = -1
