Question 189189: Hello.Can you help me with solving this rational expression?3^x - 2^x+1=4^x
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3^x - 2^x+1=4^x
x*log(3) - x*log(2) = x*log(4)
x*(log(3/2) = x*log(4)
Since log(3/2) does not = log(4), x must be zero.
x = 0
----------
check:
1 - 1 + 1 = 1
1=1, so 0 works.
