SOLVE 3x(x-5)(3x+5)=0
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SOLVE 3x(x-5)(3x+5)=0
--------------
Since it's already factored, it's less work.
There are three factors that are multiplied, and the product is zero. So, one of the factors has to be zero.
It's either 3x, (x-5), or (3x+5).
If it's 3x, then
x = 0
--------------
If it's x-5, then
x = 5
-------------
If it's 3x+5, then
x = -5/3
--------
Those the the 3 solutions:
0, 5, -5/3
