X2 - 4x - 12
Answer by ptaylor(2198) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x2 - 11x + 30
__________________ This equals
X2 - 4x - 12
x^2-11x+30=(x-6)(x-5)
and
x^2-4x-12=(x-6)(x+2)
so
((x-6)(x-5))/((x-6)(x+2) cancel the (x-6) in numerator and denominator
(x-5)/(x+2)---------------------------ans
Hope this helps---ptaylor
