Question 178233: I am having problems finding the numerator to the following rational expression.
Any help regarding this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Problem :
We will fully simplify the expression.
4 over x^2 + 4 over x^2+x
Factor x^2+x = x(x+1)
So when we simplify 4 over x^2 + 4 over x^2+x
The numerator is :
The denominator is: x^2(x+1)
Use the "least common denominator"

Problem :
We will fully simplify the expression.
[4 /x^2] + [4 / (x^2+x)]
----
Factor x^2+x = x(x+1)
Then the lcd = x^2(x+1)
--------------
So when we simplify [4 /x^2] + [4 /(x^2+x)]
The numerator is : 4(x+1)
--------------------
The denominator is: x^2(x+1)
