what is the answer to this polynomial using real numbers and how did you come up with the answer.
(n+3)^2 = 18
------------------
n+3 = +sqrt(18), -sqrt(18)
n = -3-3sqrt(2)
n = -3+3sqrt(2)
------------------
It's not "the answer to the polynomial", it's solve the equation for n. The answers are real numbers, but you don't use real numbers to solve it.
