Factor to get:
g(x) = [4(x+2)] / [x(x-2)(x+2)]
asymptote: x = 0, x = 2
hole: x= -2

b) g(x)=(x^3-2x^2-8x)/(x^2+3x)
g(x) = [x(x-4)(x+2)] / [x(x+3)]
asymptote: x = -3
hole: x = 0
