The cut out portion is (2x-7) long) and (x+4) wide and has an area of (184 in^2). Find the length and width of the original board. I used (2x^2+x-28=184) to find the area of the cut out, and am having trouble solving for x to find the original length and width. I get numbers for x of 10.04 and -10.5
