How can I solve these Equations? ( solving fractional equations)
--------------
Multiply thru by whatever eliminates the fractions.
In #1, multiply by 3.
1. 4/3x+1/3=1 (I'll assume that's (4/3)x, and not 4/(3x).
4x + 1 = 3
4x = 2
x = 1/2
-----------
2. y+3/2y=2\3
I don't know what to do with \
----------------
3. 3/2z+1/z=1/2
Multiply by 2z
3+2 = z
z = 5
--------------
5. 9/2b+7=3/b
You do this one.
