x^5+0x^4+0x^3+0x^2-61x-60 divided by x^2-2x-3

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^5+0x^4+0x^3+0x^2-61x-60 divided by x^2-2x-3
--------------------------
(x^5 - 61x - 60) / (x^2 -2x - 3)
=------------------
Using long division I get:
Quotient: x^3+2x^2+x+8
Remainder: -41x-36
