If a function has an odd degree and a negative leading coefficient, then what is the minimum number of zeroes it must possess/
------------------------------
Try it with y = x^3
Notice that y is negative if x=-10
Notice that y is positive if x = +10.
Somewhere between x = -10 and x= +10 the y-value must have passed thru zero.
-----------
Answer: minimum number is one.
