numerators is "1".

1/(x-5) > 10

x cannot be 5:
Draw a number line and mark x=5

Let x be greater than 5; then x-5 is positive.
Multiply both sides of the inequality by x-5 to get:
1 > 10x - 50
10x < 51
x < 5.1

Solutions: 5 < x < 5.1
