Question 154124: how can i factorize 4^3x^2 +5x -2^3 please i need help in this sum
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4^3x^2 +5x -2^3
= 64x^2 + 5x - 8
Use the quadratic formula:
x = [-5 +- sqrt(25 - 4*64*-8)]/(128)
x = [-5 +- 40.5302..]/128
x = 0.277580... or x = -0.355705...
------------
So the factors are (x-0.277580..)(x+0.355705...)
