b(5b-3)=0

Answer by nabla(475)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The question really is where can that statement be true?
b(5b-3)=0
Recall that if we multiply two numbers together, in order to get zero one must be zero!
so b=0
or 5b-3=0
Now, solve the second equation:
5b=3
b=3/5
This gives you a solution set of b=0 or b=3/5.
