Question 136973: I am trying to solve polynomial equations by factoring and i need help. The problem is (9t+11)(t+9)=79 Please help
Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(9t+11)(t+9)=79
9t^2+11t+81t+99=79
9t^2+92t+99-79=0
9t^2+92t+20=0
(9t+2)(t+10)=0
9t+2=0
9t=-2
t=-2/9 or -.2222 answer.
t+10=0
t=-10 answer.
