 ok these can be fairly easy once you know what your doing.
you have the problem f(x)=6x-7 and you have to find what it is when it is f(2)
the first thing you need to do is since f(x) now equals f(2) you have to replace any of the x's you see in the problem with the new number 
so now it should look like 6(2)-7
once its plugged in you can now solve
12-7
now your answer will be 5
