2:9 is the foxes:rabbits.
2/9=(x-35)/x now cross mulyiply
2x=9(x-35)
2x=9x-315
2x-9x=-315
-7x=-315
x=-315/-7
x=45 rabbits.
45-35=10 foxes.

2/9=2/9
