Simplify:
First, factor a 2 from both the numerator and the denominator to ease the calculations a bit.
Cancel the 2's.
Now factor the trinomial in the numerator and the trinomial in the denominator.
Cancel the (3+x)'s
Now factor a y from the numerator and from the denominator.
Cancel the y's.
