Answer by apachemexican1(64) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3/4x-5=4
first you must cancel out the -5
by adding a five to both sides of
the equation
3/4x-5+5=4+5
3/4x=9
now multiply 4 to both sides of
the equation
4*3/4x=9*4
the fours cancel out
and you are left with
3x=36
now divide 3 to both sides of
the equation
the threes cancel out
and you are left with
x=12
good luck!
