Question 120855: (c+3)/(c-3)=(c+2)/(c-3)
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(c+3)/(c-3)=(c+2)/(c-3)
---------------------------
Cross-multiply to get:
c^2-9 = c^2-c-6
c^2-c+3 = 0
c = [1 +- sqrt(1-4*3)]/2
c = [1 +- sqrt(-11)]/2
c = [1 +- isqrt(11)]/2
c = (1/2)+(i/2)sqrt(11) or c = (1/2) - (i/2)sqrt(11)
