Identify the following variation equations as direct, inverse, or combined.
(a) y = kx (b) y = kx^2 (c) y = k/x (d) y = k/
(e) y = kwd

If there are more than two variables (not counting the constant k) then it is combined. Otherwise,

If the x is in the denominator, it is inverse.

If the x is not in the denominator, it is direct.
