Question 1172334: Rewrite the equations and identify whether polynomial or not, the lead Coefficient and the degree of the polynomial and whether is odd or even and how it affects the end conditions:
f(x) = 2X^2+2X^4+3.5X

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=2x^4+2x^2+3.5x.
This is a polynomial
f(-x)=2x^3+2x^2-3.5x
This is neither f(x) nor -f(x), so neither even nor odd function.
when x goes to infinity or minus infinity, f(x) goes to +oo.
The leading coefficient is 2 (for the x^4) and the degree is 4.
