3X/4-2X/5=2 COMBINE THESE FRACTIONS BY FINDING A COMMON DENOMINATOR.
4*5=20 LOOKS LIKE A COMMON DENOMINATOR.
[5(3X)-4(2X)]/20=2
(15X-8X)/20=2
7X/20=2 NOW CROSS MULTIPLY.
7X=40
X=40/7 ANSWER.
3/4*40/7-2/5*40/7=2
120/28-80/35=2
(120*35-80*28)/980=2
(4200-2240)/980=2
1960/980=2
2=2
