Question 1163014: How do I simplify the expression and then factor?
Expression: 23w^3 - 5w^2x + 8wx^2 - 8w^3 - 13wx^2 + 30w^2x
Answer by greenestamps(13200) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1) Combine like terms -- terms with the same combinations of variables and powers.
(2) Factor out the greatest common factor of all three terms.
The remaining quadratic factor does not factor further, so this is the final simplified and factored expression.
