Question 1114886: 11 ml of an alcohol solution was mixed with 4 ml of a 31% alchohol solution to make a 64% alchohol solution. Find the percent concentration of the first solution
Answer by addingup(3677)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
11x + 4(0.31) = 15(0.64)
11x + 1.24 = 9.6
11x = 9.6 - 1.24
x = 8.36/11 = 0.76
The percentage concentration of the first solution is 76%
