r^2-7r+12/ r+4 divided by r^2-7r+12/r^2+6r+8
= (r-3)(r-4)/r+4 divided by (r-4)(r-3)/(r+2)(r+4)
=r+4/(r-3)(r-4)*(r-4)(-3)/(r+2)(r+4)
=1/r+2

[r^2-7r+12]/ [r+4] divided by [r^2-7r+12]/[r^2+6r+8]

= (r^2+6r+8)/(r+4)
-------
= [(r+4)(r+2)]/(r+4)
Note:: The graph of this would be the line y = r+2 with
a hole at r = -4.

Your 3rd line is wrong. You FLIPPED the 1st fraction instead of the 2nd.
Redo the 3rd line by FLIPPING the 2nd fraction, and you should end up with: r + 2
