but this answer is not one of the four choices in my textbook. they are:
a. (-8x -16)/ (x^2+x-56)
b. (-8x+47)/(x^2+x-56)
c. (-8x-65)/(x^2+x-56)
d. (-17)/ (x^2-64)
The problem is:
(-(9)/(x^2+x-56)) - (8/x+8)
