Question 106495: -12z^4y^2/-2z^10y^2
I need to find the quotient.
I came up with 12z/8z but I don't think this is correct.

Answer by checkley75(3666)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(-12z^4y^2)/(-2z^10y^2)
-12/-2=6
z^4/z^10=1/z^6
y^2/y^2=1
so we have:
6*1*1/(z^6)
6/z^6
