Question 1034260: when simplifying x^3-2x^2+7x-9/x+3 it then shows x^2-5 on top of the division sign it then shows x^3+3x^2 underneath the x^3 and 2x^2 it then shows -5x^2+7x and right below that it shows -5x^2-15x it wants to know what the missing value is when you use the -5x^2+7x and -5x^2-15x all the work is done up to that part thats where i get lost

when simplifying x^3-2x^2+7x-9/x+3 it then shows x^2-5 on top of the division sign it then shows x^3+3x^2 underneath the x^3 and 2x^2 it then shows -5x^2+7x and right below that it shows -5x^2-15x it wants to know what the missing value is when you use the -5x^2+7x and -5x^2-15x all the work is done up to that part thats where i get lost
--------
Not clear what you mean by all that.
-----
x^3-2x^2+7x-9/x+3
Did you want to divide that? x+3 is not a factor of the NUM.
You can divide --> a quotient and a remainder.
