Product of two negative numbers is positive.
Product of a negative and a positive number is negative.
Product of two positive numbers is positive.

Look at the sign of the term of x. This will tell you more information. If it is positive while the constant term is negative, then the larger constant of the binomial is positive and the other is negative.

Assume h and k , and b and c are positive real numbers.
, you know h and k are shown as ADDED to x.
may be either OR .
You must look at hx and kx to see how the signs will work.
