You can't factor it; the polynomial is prime.
You can solve using the quadratic formula, if it is an equation. It will give complex roots.
x=(1/2)(4 +/- sqrt (16-96)); sqrt -80=4i sqrt (5)
x=2 +./- 2i sqrt (5)
