9x^2 + 12xy + 4y^2 - 25
The 25 is what is throwing me off. There are no like terms from the 25 to go with the other parts of the expression. Please explain! Thanks!
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
this is the difference of two squares
9x^2+12xy+4y^2 is (3x+2y)^2 ... 25 is 5^2
((3x+2y)+5)((3x+2y)-5) ... (3x+2y+5)(3x+2y-5)
