there is a 2s in each term that can be factored out ... (2s)(2+3t-7t^2)
to factor the quadratic, look for combinations of the factors of 2 and -7 that can give you 3
+-1 and +-2 for 2 ... +-1 and +-7 for 7 ... no way to get 3; so the quadratic is not factorable
