Question 152241: Could someone show me how to factor this completely? If it is even possible to do so.
5a^2-22a+8
: Could someone show me how to factor this completely? If it is even possible to do so.
5a^2-22a+8

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5a^2-22a+8=0
then
a = (22 +- sqrt( 22^2-4*5*8 ))/(2*5)
then
a = (22 +- 18)/(10)
then solutions are a=4 and a=0.4
then 5a^2-22a+8=5(a-4)(a-0.4)
